I sort of got the job a bit. I start Monday. But, today I bought Bioshock, and if I haven’t completed that by Monday I may have to call in sick.
Actually, that was a joke.

Are you just using your blog as a list of things you’ve bought or are we going to get some details about the larger things in your life? Why did you leave Disney? What did that job entail? What does this new one entail? How did you come by it?

I left Disney because it was a temp contract. The people in charge of the department I was in had me filing and moving boxes while they tried to find me something meatier to sink my teeth into, which they unfortunately didn’t.
The new job involves Procurement - two of ABC’s channels are switching from SD to HD, and I’ll be helping to order equipment and get it moved about. It helps that all of the people in the department are, and I quote, “Level 5 Geeks.”
