Yesterday I booked a return flight from LAX to Heathrow - I’ll be visiting my Mum, my sister, and other friends and family in the UK from Tuesday 13th November to Monday 19th. it’s only a week, but as I’m a temp at Disney I don’t currently get paid vacation time, so it’s the most I could accord to do. I will also be back for a week in March (probably the week surrounding March 22nd, as that’s the current set date for the UK Web & Mini Comix Thing 2008, which I will be attending to promote Jump Leads) but I haven’t booked that flight yet - it’s likely I’ll book it before the end of the year.
It’s going to be great going back and seeing everyone. I had hoped to go in September for my Mum’s birthday but sadly I couldn’t afford to (besides, if nothing else, booking a flight that close would have been murderously expensive). It’s just a shame I can only afford a week.
